Ideal stay for solo travelers
You know, the breakfast was something else, like Anna really knows how to whip up a mean full English! And that complimentary drink fridge? It made me feel right at home, like I was back in my own lab.
It wasn’t exactly a steal, but it was still manageable.

I stayed here recently and appreciated the comfortable bed and the well-stocked fridge. The location made it perfect for exploring Newmarket. I encountered a minor issue with the bathroom's size, but that didn't overshadow my enjoyable experience overall.

The bed was super comfy, which was a nice surprise. The room was okay, decent size, and having a private bathroom was a plus. But honestly, it felt a bit off since the place seemed like a poorly converted house. No garden to speak of and no staff around really made it feel strange. Just one guy communicating through phone wasn't ideal.

Had a lovely time enjoying the cozy lounge and the peaceful garden area during my stay. The only downside was a bit of noise from other guests early in the morning, but it didn’t ruin my experience. I’d recommend checking out the kitchen for a nice snack or meal during your visit! 😊

Warm welcome from Anna and a cozy room for my stay. No staff on-site, felt a bit odd for a B&B.

Not what we expected
We stayed for 2 nights in a double room and it was pretty disappointing. The place felt more like an old house than a hotel, and we rarely saw anyone. Communication was just via texts, which was kinda strange. The room was okay, but lacking any real charm. At least the dining options nearby were decent.

the bed was super comfy, and the location is perfect for exploring newmarket. anna really made us feel at home, and the free drinks fridge was a nice touch. the breakfast was also amazing, one of the best full englishes i've had! really appreciated the quick response when i had questions before arriving.
the bathroom could use a little more space, and it took a bit of time to get the codes for the doors.

Comfortable bed and a great location were highlights. the overall experience suffered from the poor conversion quality of the accommodation, lack of staff presence, and minimal outdoor space. Although energy bars were a nice touch, the overall offerings did not meet expectations.
